The Gemmological Association of New Zealand (GANZ) was formed in 1979 to help promote and further the education of gemmology in New Zealand.
We are a small group of 70+ members, most of whom are qualified gemmologists. We have a number of students at various stages of their course, doing either the British Gem A Diploma or the Australian GAA Diploma.
We publish a quarterly newsletter, hold bi-annual seminars, and other talks/ lectures as and when speakers are available. We are a satellite training centre for Gem A (Gemmological Association of Great Britain) and GAA (Gemmological Association of Australia).
