We can offer two Gemmological Courses.
Gem-A
We are an allied training centre for Gem A (the Gemmological Association of Great Britain). Gem A Diploma (FGA) is available as a correspondence course in 2 parts (with Great Britain). Year one is their Foundation in Gemmology Certificate. You must pass this to go on to year two, which is the full Gemmological Diploma. GANZ will provide the practical tuition you need (in Auckland) to complete the course for each year. You can start the course at any time, exams are held in January and July each year.
GAA
The Gemmological Association of Australia provide an excellent full gemmological Certificate Course (FGAA). Again, this is by correspondence with Australia (NSW), practical tuition provided by GANZ. The course is in 2 parts, year one and year two. You must pass the year one exam before you can take the year two course. Exams are held in October each year, best time to start the course is at the begining of the year.
